With the approach of “Learning genuinely, working genuinely, assessing genuinely, nurturing genuine talent, creating genuine value”, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) is entering the academic year 2026 - 2027 with a commitment to innovate boldly, ensuring the quality of education, work efficiency, and the value created for students, enterprises, and society for sustainable development. This spirit was strongly emphasised at the conference of staff representatives, workers, summarising the academic year 2025 - 2026 and launching tasks for the academic year 2026 - 2027, organised on 24/10/2026.
The conference was chaired by PGS.TS. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry; PGS.TS. Le Hong Quan - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry; along with the participation of over 700 delegates, staff members.

Notable milestones in the academic year 2025 - 2026
Presenting the report summarising the results and directions for the new academic year, PGS.TS. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry highlighted the significant achievements of HaUI during the transformation phase and the implementation of the new university model.
In the past academic year, HaUI welcomed 10,772 new students, increasing the total number of enrolled students to 32,722; successfully completing the accreditation of 10 training programmes. The employment rate of graduates reached 93.25%. International cooperation activities continued to expand with over 120 international students officially enrolled.
PGS.TS. Kieu Xuan Thuc – Rector of Hanoi University of Industry presented the results of the academic year 2025 - 2026 and outlined the directions for the new academic year.
In scientific research and innovation, HaUI recorded 1,905 scientific publications, of which 728 articles were indexed in the WoS/Scopus database. The total funding for scientific research and the results achieved reached approximately 16.08 billion VND. Total revenue in 2025 increased by 19.45%, creating additional resources for training, research, and development of staff.
Building human resources, innovating management, and enhancing the quality of training
Identifying faculty members and researchers as key resources, HaUI will continue to focus on attracting high-quality faculty, scientific experts, setting high standards for quality, and creating breakthroughs in educational training.
Discussions at the conference focused on innovating training in the context of AI, developing scientific technology, and promoting creative potential.
Discussions at the conference centred on practical issues: innovating salary policies according to job positions; transforming training in the context of artificial intelligence; promoting the scientific research potential, technology, and innovative creativity of faculty members, researchers, and students.
Promoting the spirit of democracy, responsibility, and transparency, the conference also proceeded to elect the People's Inspection Committee for the term 2026 - 2028 with a composition of 9 members; dedicating time to dialogue, addressing various issues, to propose solutions for staff and workers.

In the academic year 2026 - 2027, HaUI has identified 08 key tasks:
1. Innovating the mindset, perfecting the organisational structure, enhancing the effectiveness of management.
2. Innovating recruitment and training according to the requirement of “Real learning. Real talent.”
3. Innovating assessment, ensuring quality and controlling the curriculum according to the requirement of “Real evaluation.”
4. Developing teams, attracting and retaining “human resources.”
5. Creating breakthroughs in science, technology, innovating creativity and transferring knowledge, creating real value.
6. Transforming the entire university, developing a modern university model and infrastructure.
7. Strengthening cooperation with enterprises, international integration and developing an innovative ecological environment.
8. Developing a comprehensive educational environment, ensuring resources and building the culture of HaUI.
